Food fraud has increasingly proven itself to be a challenge for the food industry. Today, companies are thus expected to know everything and be transparent about their supply chains in order to assure stakeholders of the authenticity of their products and production methods. 

In this Food Innovation Talk you will get insights on how to cope with food fraud. You will be presented with knowledge on vulnerability assessment and where to find assistance related to this, the importance of knowing one’s supply chain and systematically mapping it, news related to food fraud and how today’s food fraudsters are attempting to cheat.

Eurofins Steins Lab.’s senior food consultant and M.Sc. in Dairy Science, Henriette Schønwandt, and food consultant and M.Sc. in Molecular Nutrition and Food Technology, Rikke Dahl, who have both worked within the field of food fraud for the last three years.
