3D printing of food has received a lot of media coverage. Are you curious to know more about this technology and how it may apply to your organization, then join this FIT by the Danish Technological Institute. The 3D technology is currently transforming from printing gimmicks such as chocolate print to printing real meals, that will be served to patients with special dietary needs at hospitals. The FIT will introduce the why, what and how behind 3D printed food and will disclose the development goals and plans for testing.
The FIT is brought to you by Product Manager, ph.d. Mia Fiilsøe Falkeborg from the Danish Technological Institute, Department of Food Technology. She is heading the project on 3D print in the Danish Food Sector sponsored by the Innovation Fund. The project has a range of industrial partners and will test 3D printed material on patients at Aalborg University Hospital.
