Sustainability and corporate responsibility (S/CR) is something that has become increasingly important for companies, or at least something that takes up more and more time in corporate communication from companies. The picture is borrowed from Stauning Whiskey's website. Healthy for the young is not healthy for the old When we think of health, we must not think in one-size-fits-all. Food Valley, NL, recently hosted a summit on Personalised Nutrition – Food for the Elderly with nutrition for the elderly taking centre stage. Among the many inspiring lectures and workshops on the importance of nutrition for the elderly, was a particularly intriguing presentation by Sarah Browner, MSc in Innovation in European Business, of Innova Market Insights [...]

Personalised nutrition? Yes, please, say stakeholders Research shows stakeholders want more personalised nutrition – on one condition In any business, keeping your stakeholders in mind is the key to the success, and in a rapidly growing field like personalised nutrition, it can be especially difficult to keep track of stakeholder opinions. The INCluSilver project, which Danish Food Cluster is currently working on with partners from across Europe, is responsible for finding innovation linked to personalised nutrition for Europe’s ageing population, and in order to foster development in the field, our partners at the University of Northern [...]

Arne Astrup: ”Dietary advice will change. Not all of the well-known advice is actually true.” Danish Food Cluster’s first masterclass breaks health taboos and guides the way to new business in personalized nutrition.  Masterclass – Personalized Nutrition by the University of Copenhagen Whether you have type 2 diabetes, prediabetes, high or low insulin resistance, or none of the above, research shows compelling evidence against the “one diet fits all” strategy that has long been used by dietitians and the general public.
