Many large international companies are based in Denmark, along with research-intensive universities, specialist knowledge organisations and budding growth businesses. Here, businesses have ready access to the rest of Europe – with 100 million of the world’s wealthiest consumers within easy reach. As a place to do business, Denmark ranks high in international indexes:

Doing business 2015 – World Bank “Denmark made starting a business easier by reducing the paid-in minimum capital requirement.” Best countries for business – Forbes “This thoroughly modern market economy features a high-tech agricultural sector, state-of-the-art industry with world-leading firms in pharmaceuticals, maritime shipping and renewable energy, and a high dependence on foreign trade.”

Almost half the Danish population completes a further education or higher education programme. Opportunities to study in Denmark also attract thousands of students from abroad.
